Vosne-Romanée Premier Cru "Les Beaumonts" from Domaine Hudelot Noëllat is a high-end label from one of the world's most famous and highly rated wine terroirs. We are in the cradle of the greatest Pinot Noirs, in an area that is home to the legendary Grand Crus: Romanée-Conti, Romanée Saint-Vivant, La Romanée, La Tâche, La Grande Rue, Richebourg, Échezeaux and Grands-Échezeaux, as well as 14 Climats classified as Premier Cru. This list of names could suffice to describe the unique characteristics that make Vosne-Romanée a mythical place, capable of producing refined, complex and long-lived wines, a true synthesis of the best characteristics of Burgundy.

Premier Cru "Les Beaumonts" is a remarkable Vosne-Romanée, made by Domaine Hudelot Noëllat, in the classic way, according to the best traditions of the region. The grapes come from two small plots within the Premier Crus Les Beaumonts territory, which is located in the northwest part of Vosne-Romanée, towards Flagey-Échezeaux. The vineyards enjoy a favorable east-facing exposure and are rooted in soils composed of clay-limestone marls, particularly suited to Pinot Noir, which expresses itself with extraordinary elegance and richness. Harvesting operations are carried out manually, with selection of the best bunches to be sent to vinification, which is done using only indigenous yeasts and with 20 percent of the bunches not destemmed. According to custom, the wine rests for 16 months in French oak barrels, 30% new, before being bottled without clarification or filtration.

"Les Beaumonts" Premier Cru Vosne-Romanée from Domaine Hudelot Noëllat is a version of Pinot Noir that stands out for its good structure and usual finesse, typical of all Côte d'Or reds. To the eye, it presents an intense ruby red color with luminous vermilion highlights. The olfactory picture offers a fascinating palette of scents, characterized by nuances of violets, aromas of red currant, morello cherry, raspberry, soft spices and hints of noble woods. The dense and evolved tannin is perfectly integrated with the ripeness of the fruit and elegant tertiary notes. The finish is fresh and with good taste persistence.
