Pomino Bianco Frescobaldi 2021

Pomino Bianco presents the elegant and refined traits of Frescobaldi's signature wines. Its origins are noble, rooted in the Castello di Pomino. From those 700 meters above sea level, the vines peer out over the landscape below and are embellished with the finesse that makes the territory's white grapes elegant and classy.

This version of Pomino Bianco DOC uses Chardonnay and Pinot Bianco grapes and a small proportion of other complementary white grapes. The winemaking process takes place in steel containers, except for a small amount of wine that ferments in barriques. At the end of malolactic fermentation, carried out only by the part vinified in wood, four months of aging in steel and one in the bottle follow.

Pomino Bianco di Frescobaldi is a wine with an intense fruity and distinctly floral bouquet. The note of yellow fruit, not devoid of tropical hints, proceeds baldly arm in arm with an array of white flowers with equally sweet and intense nuances. The expansive, rounded character of the Chardonnay balances well with the finer, more chiseled character of the Pinot Blanc, known to veer toward delicate, subtle tones. This blend of white grapes is identified by its pleasant drinkability and savoriness, which entices one to proceed with another fresh sip. The Tuscan class leaves its memory in a beautiful persistence and tells the stories of evocative landscapes full of charm.
