Boris and Sandi Skerk are undoubtedly two prominent members of the Friulian winemaking scene, thanks to their renowned winemaking techniques with a long maceration for white wines. This area of Carso, then, is mostly rocky and the lives struggling to find nourishment. And it is precisely this effort that makes the plant stronger and, in the right hands, it gives the wines a unique character, just like this Ograde. The latest arrived in the cellar Skerk, this white is named after the name of the particle where today the winery is located and where there was once a vineyard of Vitovska and Terrano. This blend of Vitovska, Sauvignon, Pinot Gris and Malvasia immediately struck by the floral and complex character, made up of references and savory caramel. Even his color, almost onion skin, is the result of maceration on the skins in wooden vats for 15 days.
