The Lagrein "Barbagol" of Laimburg is part of the selection Maniero by the company; these are wines from the individual, who refined in small oak barrels or that are partially selected by the Winery Laimburg. What characterizes the Lagrein "Barbagol" is definitely the aging in oak barrels, the pause in these small oak barrels for 20 months strengthens the evolutionary potential, softens the taste and gives the wine of delicate scents of wood that harmonize fully with intense cherry notes that characterize the Lagrein grape. We are in the presence of a red compact and vigorous, soft and persistent on the finish, perfect accompaniment to roasted meats, game and cheeses. Another feature of the Manor Selection Laimburg is the name that distinguishes each wine; names that originate from the Ladin legends of the Dolomites, which are the natural expression of the culture of South Tyrol. "Barbagol", the name given at this Ladino Lagrein, expresses the "sorcerer bewitches the senses".
