Gin 'XY' VL92 - 100cl

The Gin 'XY' VL92 was the search of two Dutch entrepreneurs, great lovers of gin looking for a recipe anti conventional, richer and certainly more sophisticated than traditional on the market. Wanted their gin had the courage to go beyond standard. And so it came out a distillate product from a base of malt wine (a liquor born fermented beer), the VL92. This gin has its roots in traditional Genever (Dutch strongly alcoholic liquor flavored with juniper); the malt wine confers a particular audacity, while its complexity comes from the game between botanical elements that end up with the eccentric endnote citrus, due dall'ingrediente more surprising: the cilantro leaf. It takes its name from an old Dutch sailing ship whose goods, (exotic spices) were considered highly sought after and definitely too exaggerated to the traditional recipes of the preparations of the gin, today absolutely perfect for a large gin VL92. Just like then, the first shipment of VL92 happened "symbolically" aboard a beautiful sailing ship, from Amsterdam to London by sea.
