Frascati Superiore Riserva 'Epos' Poggio le Volpi 2018

Armando Mergè represents the third generation of the family, the love story in the wine world began in the 20 ' by Mario Mergè, and become reality in the early 90's with the birth of the cellar. The grapes are selected to create the wines, are situated between the slopes of Monte Porzio Catone and the Roman countryside. The soils have an high exposure to the sun, and thanks to the perfect microclimate, the Frascati can express its full potential. The grapes selected for the “Epos”, are partial withering on the vine, this style production shapes the character to the wine, particularly evident in the fragrances of tropical fruits and the roundness of taste.
