Cometa Planeta 2017

The initial project at the base of Cometa by Planeta consisted in the production of a great Sicilian white wine made out of grapes from Southern Italy, able to compete with the most famous white of the world. For this reason, in the 90s came on the trial with Fiano, a noble and ancient variety typical of Campania. This was the genesis of Cometa, that best expresses, in an original and unique way, the most important features of this extraordinary variety. Intense and fruity scents, great structure and elegance, with fragrant supply of minerals that reveal the happy combination of grapes and territory, make of this Fiano one of the white wines of reference for Southern Italy winemaking. Characterized by a ready drinkability, Cometa also lends itself to a gentle evolution over time.
