Chardonnay Planeta 2014

Planeta Chardonnay has become over time an icon for the healthy dynamism brought into play by Sicily in the last few years in the field of white wines. Suffice it to say that this wine comes by its nature from a challenge, from the desire to go along with characters of a grape originally acclimatized across the Alps, interpreting them in a land so different from the French one and most of the times able to express an explosive personality. A challenge started in 1985 and full of surprises and achievements. The vineyards of Ulmo and Maroccolo, which give rise to the wine, show the characteristics of a unique terroir by genre, with their stony soil treaded by the sun and their rows of vines surrounded by the ruins of a Moorish castle, the Lago Arancio and mountain ridges. This landscape above all nourishes the great expressiveness of Planeta Chardonnay.
