The Barbaresco "Ronchi" by Albino Rocca is one of the great wines of Piedmont, austere and able to evolve beautifully for many years. Albino Rocca is a reference in the Langhe, a family who has linked his passion for wine production with this fantastic area since 1960, when Albino founded the winery. A basement that has always tried to create the most expressive of the local terroir, without shortcuts wine. Wines real, rigorous, unique, perfectly expressive of the local terroir; these are the main features of Barbaresco "Ronchi" by Albino Rocca who founded the homonymous vineyard Ronchi, on soils of limestone and clay matrix, located at 240 meters above sea level, on vines that are between 50 and 70 years of age and are exposed to the southeast. A fascinating terroir, unique, accompanied by a traditional winemaking style that includes a two-week maceration on the skins and aged for 24 months, 80% in oak barrels Germany and Austria and the remaining 20% in oak barrels. And the “Ronchi” is certainly the most cru male of Albino Rocca, with a definition that gives ripe red fruit aroma, with cherry and black cherry all, then anise and a spicy finish. And 'energetic and agile and has an assured future.
