Assyrtiko Sigalas 2022

The Assyrtiko by Sigalas is a white wine that impresses with its deep mineral character, fully expressive of the terroir in which was born and developed. We are on the island of Santorini, on the northern tip, less than a kilometer away from the Mediterranean.

It comes from vineyards with more than 60 years of age, on volcanic soils, rich in iron and magnesium, with small percentages of pumice stone and clay; features that are perfectly nell'Assyrtiko Sigalas, one of the indigenous Greek grapes able to keep a nice freshness and a good body. Sigalas we proprione a classic version dell'Assyrtiko, vinified only in steel, which are beautifully preserved its features.

Minerality and freshness, with a certainly austere spine. The nose offers us wonderful notes of citrus and herbs, with the hydrocarbon recalls that many remember the Alsatian and German Riesling.
