whisky-ardmore
Whisky Ardmore

The Whisky Ardmore comes from the homonymous distillery founded by Adam Teacher in 1898 and remained in family ownership until the mid-70s when, after several steps, was absorbed by Fortune Brands, which became the Beam Inc. in 2011. It is one of the largest and most modern distilleries of Scotland and is located outside the eastern edge of the Speyside, between the River Bogie, the forest and the mountains Clashindarroch Grampian. It is the only Highland East to always have its peaty single malt from the beginning. To produce whiskey, until the '70s, has used their malt and currently buys from local suppliers specialized. The well-balanced single malt whiskey that is produced is rather sweet and full of flavor. Particularly near the cereal, this whiskey has an interesting complexity of fruity flavors and floral evolved into vats of Douglas fir. The view is medium amber and the smell of peat is thin and clear the nose, slightly smoky. In the mouth the taste is spicy, with a good amount of oak. Contains a balanced taste of lightly smoked notes with hints of vanilla, a malty flavor with a hint exotic and with some hint of lemon. A final warm with notes torbate and sweet malt.
