After some study tours made ​​at some of the best producers of white wines in Friuli, Walter Massa went back in Piedmont, in its Monleale, with the aim of applying the method of refining on the lees to Timorasso and trying to convince the public to accept a Piedmontese white wine for aging. After years of dedication and tenacity, the work seems to have repaid Walter Massa: not only his wines have achieved significant levels of expression capturing the attention of leading guidebooks in this sector, but also a large number of producers in the area have followed his example, giving new life to this work of rediscovery of Timorasso.
