The sugar cane, which is pure, from which the rum is made, is taken on the spot, following a single and valuable crop in the year, and precipitations guarantee its goodness. Making that Rhum Agricole is itself unique: the sugar cane juice is not diluted, the controlled temperatures are very long and, as with fruits, a double distillation in bain-marie have been chosen. Then, it is aged in oak barrels that were previously the noble place for the refinements of French white wines.
