The soils have a \u003cstrong\u003egood slope\u003c\/strong\u003e and are composed of a limestone matrix, benefiting from the cool winds that blow through upper Alsace. Harvesting is done only by hand and the grapes are vinified in steel with spontaneous fermentation by native yeasts.
